Hello!

I’m Nafiseh Emadmostofi

an art therapist, Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and a passionate believer in the healing power of creativity.

My work is rooted in the idea that art can reach places words sometimes cannot, opening doors to self-discovery, emotional release and genuine joy.

I hold a Graduate Level Diploma in Art Therapy from Toronto Art Therapy Institute and have over five years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges.

My background in Psychology and art and art history, along with specialized training in therapeutic humour and laughter and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy allows me to weave together evidence-based practices with the transformative magic of artistic expression.

Over the years

I’ve worked with diverse communities-from teenagers and adults navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD and stress, to individuals seeking personal growth, emotional resilience, and renewed connection with themselves. I am also an active member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association, College of Registered Psychotherapist and the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humour.

Humour is an essential part of my approach. I believe that laughter and light-heartedness, when used with care, can create a safe, uplifting space for healing. My sessions often combine art-making, gentle exploration, and moments of play-helping clients see challenges from new perspectives and rediscover their inner strengths.

Outside of my practice, you can often find me painting, exploring creative projects or learning something new that can enrich my work with clients.

If you’re ready to explore your story through colour, texture, and a touch of humour, I would be honoured to walk this journey with you.
